Wandering Weasels
I stumbled across this site, called Weasel Trek, while I was hunting down some information about weasels and thought it was so cute, I had to share it.I was given a toy ferret by my good friend Lyn a while ago and we’ve called him Monty. While he doesn’t get to visit places in Europe, he is a frequent visitor to St John of God Hospital in Subiaco, as he accompanies me on my countless operations each year!
There is one lady called Bernice who brings the lunches & afternoon teas to patients and she’s been around since my first back fusion in 1988. Bernice has dubbed me Ferret Lady although she teases me about having a rat on my pillow! It’s quite funny to see the nurses’ startled faces when they come into my room and see a ferret around my head.
