Twins?
I took this photo of Kahlua last December, when she was on my lap.

Then last week Seamus was being silly on our bed, so I started snapping away and caught him in almost the exact same pose as Kahlua! Don’t you just love those cute little tongues they have

My scatty little silvermitts … the pair of them really are the zany part of the family, especially Seamus!
He’s still able to open bottle or jar tops and just the other day I caught him in my laundry cupboard, trying to get his teeth around the top of the new bottle of bleach which Philip had put on a low shelf!
I moved it to the top shelf because even though it had a childproof top, which is difficult to open, I wouldn’t put it past Seamus McTrouble to manage to get it opened and end up with a mouthful of bleach! *~shiver~* That thought is too ghastly to imagine!
The best thing about winter is that the girls love sleeping in our bed with us! Muis doesn’t often stay with us throughout the night but Kahlua does. In fact, every night I usually find her waiting for me, curled up under the doona and keeping my side of the bed warm, when I come to bed
It beats me how people can think of ferrets as being vicious and nasty little animals, it really does!

Ok I’ll try this again.
I just checked all the kids out. Seamus looks more like Bobo, the only thing is BoBo only has white on his front feet. All the rest have brown feet. The white on BoBo front feet is the only way I can tell him & Trouble Bubble apart. Digger is just so much lighter in color all over, is why I asked.
Nona, Love the pictures of Kahlua & Seamus. The more I see Seamus, he looks alot like my new boy Digger in color.Ok question???? Just what is the difference between a sliver mitt & a sable.I could go look it. I need to ask some one who has had both.Digger doesn\\\’t have much of a mask,& is lighter then the rest & he has a larger head then the rest. He remines me of a possem in color.
Hi JC
If you look at both Kahlua’s and Seamus’s feet, you’ll see they have little white “socks”. That makes them silvermitts. There’s probably a more technical way of explaining it for shows, etc
Sables don’t have any white on their feet.
I also have found that – with my silvermitt girls, their coats are brown when they’re young then they turn silver as they grow older. I’ll put a picture of young Kahlua up so you can see the change.
Seamus is still quite young so his coat hasn’t blown yet but I’m hoping that he’ll turn silver with age too
