Thankfully the soda water bottle was empty when it fell onto the floor :-)

Seamus was fast asleep in the chest of drawers but the minute he heard the bottle drop, he flew out and grabbed the bottle as if it were some sort of attacking beast. Quite amazing.

I was watching him as he twist and turned the bottle top and the wretch got it off within seconds, then … as the band played “All hail the conqueror”, he grabbed the bottle and took it into the wardrobe to be stashed under my shoe rack.

All the while Angus was paying careful attention, like the apprentice learning his master’s art!

I must say that I’m totally fascinated and amused at the different things that some – not all – ferrets obsess over ;-)
