The Ongoing Saga about Kaos
I took her to the vet today as her stomach was beginning to look swollen and my vet confirmed that it was filled with fluid once again.
I’ve been told to double her diuretic dose till Monday, and then cut back. However if Kaos’ stomach doesn’t go down then I can keep her on that higher dose indefinitely.
On a positive note, my vet was very pleased at how good Kaos was looking and I told her I thought it was because of the TCM formula.
I’ve written to Kamila to see if she can suggest another formula to help reduce the swelling and perhaps to put some potassium back into Kaos’ system so will let you know what she says.
I weighed the old girl today and she’s just over 1kg, so has put on 200g since my entry of September 12.
Oh well, I suppose the news could have been worse but I am so disappointed that the fluid build up has happened again

it’s bill
SORRY to hear about kaos, you may never be able to get rid of her fluid build up completely, only keep it under control. BUT the good news is that there is a wide verity of herbs that are very good at reliving and/or controlling edema or fluid build up, SO your bound to find something that works just for her.
