English ferret kits being sold WAAAY too early!

This makes me FURIOUS! Utterly and absolutely FURIOUS!

I was looking at my ferret FB page when I saw a post from an English ferret owner saying …

This was one of three kits that Cathy Wareing has rescued from a shop called Brunos in Billing Northampton. They were charging £39.95 each. Clearly two of these kits are too young to be away from their mother. The third kit is slightly older. They were in a small cage with no bedding, just a cardboard tube and kibble that was too big from them to eat.

Sophie’s choice ….

Cathy brought her two 7-week old albino jills around yesterday afternoon for me to choose the one I wanted.

My goodness, it was hard! They were identical twins, so look-wise I couldn’t say which one I preferred as they were both so adorable.

That left personality!

Cathy let them out of their cat carrier and one of them wandered out and explored a little bit of the sitting room while the other one remained in the cage.

The picture on the left is of the adventurous girl checking out what’s under the camphorwood chest :)

The Musketeers have been named …..

Here are the latest pictures of the terrible trio … getting more and more gorgeous as the days go by :-)

Elvin told me that they have all been given names now – the boys are Popeye and Pebbles, while the little girl is called Peekaboo.

There’s also a cute little video of them moving around which Elvin put on YouTube so do check it out at

The Musketeers are growing up ….

Oh look at them – aren’t they just the sweetest little ferrets you’ve ever seen?? They are turning into real little personalities, as I’m sure you can tell by just looking at the pictures, and I can imagine how proud their human parent is of them!
