Sleepy ferrets

I don’t know about you but there is something quite delightful about sleepy little ferrets!

Now that it’s wintery, Muis likes to come up and snuggle under the blankets with us and it’s great. However, I now have Snoopy and Kaos vying for spots under the blankets as well. Kaos has been known to cuddle in the past but it’s a rare thing for Snoopy to grace us with her presence.

Don’t ever tell me ferrets are just ‘dumb animals’ because they’re not. Like with dogs and cats, they seem to know instinctively when you need comfort and attention and they show their love without conditions. Some humans could take a page out of their book!

The bedroom’s a busy place at night, what with ferrets and cats hunkered down in their spots on our bed and the dog snoring contentedly on her bed in the corner.

I’m afraid I really don’t understand people who won’t have animals in their homes because ‘they’re messy’, or ‘they’re time consuming’ or any of the other half baked answers people give for not having them. Their houses might be in pristine condition compared to mine but I truly believe their lives are somehow sadly lacking.
