*sigh* Seamus O’Trouble has been at it again!
I honestly don’t know what why young Seamus has this obsessive desire to take the tops off all the bottles he can find, I really don’t!
Yesterday morning I opened up the sitting room and was getting coffee in the kitchen when I heard a loud bang from the dining room.
I remembered that I had left a new bottle of balsamic vinegar there so was worried Seamus had got on the table and was trying to wrestle with the sealed top, so called Philip and asked him to investigate.
No, it was not the balsamic bottle which made the noise but a bottle of mint sauce, which I stupidly forgot to take back to the kitchen after our lamb dinner the night before.
The little so-and-so had opened the top of this bottle of thick, sticky, sweet, gooey mint sauce which was on the table!
You have no idea how lucky we were that the bottle had been on a silver tray so most of this thick sauce had oozed out and landed in the tray and not all over the table. Oh what a mess! It was revolting!
Philip grabbed the camera to film the destruction so you can see the mess Seamus made for yourselves ….
I honestly don’t know what drives him to hunt down bottles and open them but ah tells ya … no bottle is safe in our house
