Seamus has turned into a gourmand (from WIKI – “A gourmand is a gourmet, or namely an individual who has a discerning palate, and is a connoisseur of good food.”) … as you can see from the photo, the boy has turned his nose up at the plastic Masterfood mustard container which I spoke about a few weeks earlier.

I had left the Dijonnaise mustard jar and the Heinz ketchup on the dining room table a couple of nights ago after our dinner. Silly me (smacks hand) – how could I be so dumb, knowing what a climber Seamus is.

The morning after, I plonked myself down on the chair to watch TV while Philip was eating his breakfast and moved the footstool so I could stick my legs out. Hmmm, there was something under the stool and I wondered what it was, so bent down and pulled the object out. What else but the bottle of Heinz ketchup!

“Philip,” I said sweetly. “I think we should tip the sofa over and see what’s under there!” and my dear husband obliged.

Amongst the many loo rolls and pens which Seamus had sneaked out from our study, was the jar of Dijonnaise. Thank goodness the top was too difficult for the little fellah to get off, otherwise I would hate to think of the mess on the floor!

I must say that life with a silvermitt boy is forever exciting :-) )
