I must say that we've been so lucky with the dogs we've had over the years - they've all been BFF with our ferrets, as were our cats when we had them :) When I first got Mash, we had a Rottweiler who really was an extremely gentle giant and he was very tolerant. When he went to the Rainbow Bridge, we got a 2 year old German Shepherd and she was great with the ferrets too. Unfortunately she died last year and we got our latest dog, Zac, from Pet Rescue. He, too, is wonderful with the ferrets, especially the young ones, and it's so funny to see them play with each other.
