Hi Nick … it would be a very bad idea to keep the ferret and the guinea pig together as the ferret would kill it. Some people think that ferrets are rodents but they aren’t, they’re members of the mustelid family (like weasels, stoats, otters, etc)! If you’d like to get a ferret you’d have to keep it as far away from your guinea pig as possible. Congrats on starting a blog. Seeing that you are happy to reply to questions, I was wondering if you have ever housed a ferret and guinea pig together?

I have a lovely guinea pig and my son would like to get a ferret (more playful that guinea pigs). Can we house them together or get another cage?

I don’t have ferrets, but I do know for certain that it works (at least on me, lol). I’ve been taking the stuff for years after having had a few bouts of life threatening illnesses. I suspect that since it is derived from the immune systems of animals (chicken embryos and bovine), then that would suggest that its properties are transferable across many species.
