Huzzah — the hammock’s a hit ;-)
Well I am thrilled! Her ladyship has finally graced the hammock with her presence and seems to be quite happy to lie on a nice, clean, sweet smelling pillowcase
What a girl!
So now I have to entice Kahlua to come and join her but I don’t fancy my chances. And, surprisingly, the boys aren’t interested in sleeping inside the pillowcase! Since Seamus and Angus usually bury themselves in the sofa or Philip’s armchair, I thought they’d find it very okay to cuddle up inside but, no.
If I were younger, I think I’d go to uni and study for a degree in ferret psychology! Would that then make me the Ferret Whisperer, I wonder??

Hah! Yes, Muis (our queen) loves to cuddle in our bed too but only in winter
No one sleeps in the hammock any more. It took about 4 days for the novelty to wear off and now it just sits in our bedroom, looking very sad and empty!
Philip keeps eyeing it and asking me when I’m going to remove it but I resist, hoping one of the ferrets will rediscover its comfort and sleep on it

You are lucky that your queen still likes the hammock. Mine likes my bed, and she loves to sleep on the middle of it, because she is too royal for a hammock at leats that is waht she thinks!!
Chances are if she sticks with her
new hammock the others with join
her, AT lest from time to time,
but it’s hard to compete with the
nest in the couch and arm chair,
as it favors thier den instincts.
