I had to go back to the doctor this afternoon as my foot got very red & swollen and they thought I'd had to go straight into hospital for an IV drip (because I have a knee replacement & 2 false hips) but the surgeon said to go on stronger antibiotics so need to see how I go and return to the doctor tomorrow.<br/><br/>I don't think I'll be writing much till the weekend now :-(<br/><br/>I guess you must be aware how dangerous infections are with your hip replacement ... it really is quite scary with all those bugs which are resistant to drugs.<br/><br/>Hopefully these antibiotics will do the trick and I'll feel 100% tomorrow!!
