Happy Valentine’s Day :-)

Wishing everyone a very happy Valentine’s Day … make sure you give all your ferrets a special cuddle today and also please give them a big hug from their friends down under!
My Seamus has just surprised me again … and I honestly don’t know why I’m always surprised that he can surprise me because he’s always full of surprises
)
I heard some strange noises coming from the hallway and went to investigate. Just a few minutes earlier I had just plonked a small rubbish bin on top of the telephone table after emptying it outside. As I walked into our hallway, I saw movement happening behind the bin and I really got a fright, not being able to imagine what was there.
I very gingerly peeked over the bin and there was Seamus, looking very pleased with himself while he was giving his olfactory senses a good workout with all the new smells on the table, as well as beaming down at Angus who was jealously glaring up at him from the floor.
My heart sank when I saw him up there so I started to try and work out how he managed to get up so high. He really is a daredevil, as he must have jumped up onto the stool which is always next to the table but then noticed that one of the drawers was not pushed back all the way in. So he leaped up and grabbed the lip of the drawer, then swung himself up somehow onto the top of the table.
He should be a mascot for the Commandos or SAS or Seals or something like that … he is fearless and a really good climber. Augh!!! Something else I have to watch out for now!
He actually looked quite peeved when I grabbed him — I could imagine him thinking, “Rotten old spoilsport!” as I put him down on the floor.
* sigh *

Hahahaha – ferrets love to leave their owners scratching their heads and wondering how they get up to all the tricks that they do … ain’t that the truth
I reckon there’s no chance of me getting Alzheimer’s with Seamus around as I have to think about not leaving pens lying around, or shutting drawers, or making sure all soda bottles are up high, out of his reach. Talk about exercising my brain 24/7!!!
hey NONA
it sounds like my crews been dropping your crew emails again.
Hanna threw my for a loop last
week. i kept going in to the kitchen to find the water running and would tell my son to turn off the water. this happened 3 times and when the water was left on again i started to yell at my son then i realized he was sitting on the couch. I went in to the kitchen and Hanna was playing in the water. I turned it off and she just gave me this look like how dare you! I turned to go and she turned the water back on!!!
well kiss a duck and call me quacker’s!!! if i didn’t feel like a fool. i turned it off and got her down and she barked at me and wondered off into the bedroom to
pout “mean old daddy!!”
