Wicket & Wiley sound like they have a great “pad” and a wonderful mom who looks after them!

I don’t understand California’s Fish & Game’s refusal to allow people to keep ferrets. It’s as senseless as the Queensland & Northern Territory governments’ ban on ferrets. As if a ferret would survive to wreck the environment if it got loose in those places, what with the heat, humidity, crocodiles and cane toads!!

I guess you’re not planning to go back to live in California any time soon :-)

Love your blog! We also had a male with an amazing coat (way better than the girls). And as for the lick lick chew...We had that exact same behavior! I moved from California (where we can't have ferrets) to Arizona 4 years ago and promptly bought a ferret, then bought another less than a year later to keep it company. I don't know what I would do without my Wicket & Wiley!! I am allergic to them (all animal fur), but I recently upgraded them to a huge Ferret Nation 3 story (7 foot tall!) cage, and they have a play room dedicated to them, as well as a play pen for when they want to be nearby to watch TV with me.
