Transfer Factor for ferrets

I was pottering around the internet, looking to see what else would be good for Muis to boost her system and came across a product called Transfer Factor Plus.

It sounds like it's a wonder supplement and there are all sorts of glowing testimonials about how this product helped all kinds of dogs and cats to recover from serious conditions.

There was also a testimonial from a lady who used Transfer Factor Plus on her ferret and it helped her ferret to recover from serious illness...

A wonderful present…

My sweet hubby has surprised me with a super present today. LOOK...

fidget

He got some engraver to make me a set of 6 Jarrah (wood) coasters with Fidget's (my first silvermitt) face on it and a border of ferrets around it. Isn't it just the best?

I was thrilled to pieces and I tell you, no way are any wet glasses going to be put on those coasters.

It will be a case of look and admire, but don't you dare touch! :D

Going … going …

not yet gone but it's getting there ...!

My poor little lady :-(

As you can see from the photos, she's losing more and more hair.

Can anyone tell me how long it'll take before the melatonin kicks in and restores her hair?

I mean, I certainly don't care if she is totally bald, as long as she's in as good shape as possible, but I do worry about her feeling chilly or uncomfortable without her coat.

Apart from going bald, she seems in pretty good spirits.

I was trying to find out how long it'd take for the melatonin to work on Muis and for her hair to grow back.  I didn't come up with anything definite but found some videos and articles which I thought would be of interest to any ferret owner whose ferret has insulinoma &/or adrenal problems.  I don't endorse any of the content on this post - I've just added them for interesting reading/watching :)

Emergency Ferret Care : Treating Pet Ferret Illness with Melatonin

What are the melatonin side effects?

Attention all ferret owners!

Hi guys

I got an email from someone working for Tiger Aspect, a TV production company in the UK, saying that they're making a show about "embarrassing" pets and asking if I could pass on his details to ferret owners and ask them to share any funny or "embarrassing" stories they have.

I must take him to task for referring to our gorgeous little animals as EMBARRASSING but I'm sure there are many of you who have really amusing stories to tell about your ferrets and I hope you'll take part in this production.
