I am so thrilled!

A friend sent me an email with the link to the latest issue of Ferrets Magazine and told me to go and have a look. I did, and I was absolutely stunned to see that my site got a great write-up by Sukie Crandall.

I did have an email from her a while ago, asking for information about why I started my site, etc, and I replied but I never thought that I would be picked! There are so many good American sites, I didn't think an Aussie one would be of interest :-) )

Anyway, great information on that page about Ferret Fun on the Internet, so please take a look!

Kaos’ TCM therapy

So far so good ... I am really pleased with the way Kaos has bounced back after being diagnosed with her heart condition. She looks more like a greyhound than a ferret, being so long, lean and slinky ;-) )

I heard back from Kamila, from Online Pet Herbs, and she gave me a list of all the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) she used.

The formula is called: Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang, and apparently is famous for treating cardiovascular disease and related ailments in China for centuries.

The Spiritual Nature Of Otters

I think this blog about otters is so gorgeous and ... with a tiny bit of tweaking ... could apply to ferrets as well :-)

Our pets live to play as well, don't they, and they have the ability to make their owners laugh so much that their worries are forgotten for a while.

I reckon it's a mustelid trait and I bet if others of the species were domesticated, you'd find they all would have the same endearing habits.

LOL Ferrets

And also in the Houston Post page was this really silly but cute "gangsta" slideshow about ferrets :-)

Philip wasn't impressed.

Take a look and see what you think .....

Ferret Love

I read this article and was absolutely delighted with it. For once we have an unbiased, truthful story about ferrets ... the good, the bad and the smelly :-)

How nice to see a fairly balanced report on the pros and cons of owning a ferret ... something to show people who are contemplating getting a ferret, IMHO.

Ferret Love

They poop, they steal, they smell, they (sometimes) bite. They are adored.

You're a reporter. Your editor wants someone on the staff to do a story about ferrets and the people who love them. Amazingly, there are no takers.
