Ferrets starring in the film "Inkheart" :-)

Well I think I will be making a point to watch Inkheart when it hits the silver screen, just to see how the ferret looks in its make up!

If you read the full article, you'll see that the ferret is going to be sporting a pair of horns in its role as a marten. Mmmm, should be fun to see how that makes it look. I only hope it won't give ferrets a bad image!

Fans of the fantasy novel Inkheart may wonder what this story is about.

Talk about heart attack! One thing ferret owners should always do is go with their gut feeling.

If there is that niggling suspicion that something is not quite as it should be (like - "I haven't seen one of my ferrets for a while. Mmmm, I wonder if I should check ...!") then do it RIGHT AWAY!!

This morning I was feeling a little stressed out as we let the boys out (they sleep in the bathroom and the girls sleep in our bedroom) and they went ballistic with their playing and chasing and annoying the girls.  Read more...

Famous Seamus!

I finally have my silvermitt boy! He was born on November 5, which makes him 15 weeks old today!

You should have seen Angus's eyes light up when Seamus arrived. I could almost imagine him shouting, "Huzzah! No more playing with the toy ferret! I have my own live playmate now!"

Strangely enough, Seamus is a very serious young silvermitt. He has his mad moments, of course, but Angus is my wall-bouncing crazy boy while Seamus is rather mellow. Probably just as well, I don't know what I'd do with 2 idiotic boys in the house :-)  Read more...
