I wrote about one of my forum member’s experience with Ungvita to help with her ferret’s rat’s tail about a year ago so when Spook developed his rat’s tail a while ago, I decided to try the Ungvita to see if it really did work.

This picture shows Spook’s tail – as you can see, he had hardly any hair on it and whatever hair there was was very wispy …

so I went out and got a tube of Ungvita on May 17 and started to anoint his tail every day.

It took about 3 weeks but, as you can see from this photo, his tail is looking much hairier ;)

Et voila … Spook’s magnificent tail taken just this morning :D

So, if your ferret has a rat’s tail, I’d recommend that you get a tube of Ungvita. It’s a Vitamin A cream so won’t hurt your ferret if he licks his anointed tail :)
