A Siberian weasel with ferrets ….!
I must say, watching this video by polevv, one of the Russian mustelid fans who has a number of videos on YouTube, is quite an eye opener.
The Siberian weasel is playing (well it looks like it was playing but seeing how the ferret’s tail fluffed up, I’m not sure if the ferret was particularly impressed with the game
) with the ferrets — it’s such a fast little animal and it was really surprising to see how slow the ferret seemed in comparison! I reckon the weasel would win any argument between the two hands down!
I wondered where they found the weasel and how they managed to have it running around their flat, obviously quite friendly and tame. Not too sure I’d be bold enough to try and tame a wild weasel

Those fuzzies are wayyyy out of their league with that weasel. But there was alot of dooking going on so they seemed to enjoy their cousin’s company or at least find it fascinating.
hey NONA
your right the ferret was less than
thrilled with his speedy little play mate. MORE than likely they raised the weasel from a kit, or very young or they nursed it back to health and formed a bond with it. THEY would be hard to tame
with out a very strong element of trust. THAT has been my experience
with any wild animal I’ve dealt with.
