Ferrets are banned in our fair state of Queensland. The “banana benders (our nickname for Queenslanders) in authority” deem ferrets to be dangerous if they get out into the bush.
Now I ask you, how can a ferret survive in a steamy, tropical environment like Queensland has … not to mention all the “wildlife” that’s out there, like…
“I must not be critical!” “I must not be critical!” (takes deep breath!)
Whilst looking for articles/stories about ferrets to share with you guys, I stumbled across a blog which had an entry about the couple’s pets. The doggy they got is really, really cute – looks so adorable! But what got my gander up was the comment about their ferrets ….
“One day, I saw the preview for Along Came Polly and saw this cute litle ferret in the movie and I knew exactly what I want. {snip} The ferrets were pretty cute but all in all, are good for nothing.”
I was watching this video and I found it so cute the way the ferret was so deeply asleep. It reminded me of Mash, our first ferret, who used to sleep so soundly that I could dangle her upside down and she wouldn’t wake up. But that was before we had our first insulinoma experience!
CJ was the first to get the disease and that made me realise how woefully unprepared we would have been with Mash had she been going through an insulinoma coma, and then I started thinking about how to identify between the two.
